I used a PWR heavy duty one - around $100 or so for the full kit from memory. Fairly easy to fit up yourself too.
I too am considering adding a second one (I've got an identical second one sitting waiting) but I just can't see a neat or easy way of plumbing it all up.

I had one fitted just prior to our Tassie trip in June.
I think it's a PWR but don't have a model number to share. In size it takes up about half the frontal area of the radiator. Cost $200 supply and fit. |

I've got one on mine been there since new, fitted when the tow bar was fitted, (2600kg haymen reece)it was recommended to me when I bought the car. I don't know what the brand is. I used to tow a 26' boat to the local ramp and the car was never over heated.

I have a PWR Heavy duty V8 trans cooler on the work ute ... it copes very well with the abuse I give it.
Although ... if you want a decent one ... there's a B&M trans cooler with it's own thermostat on it (when it is cold it bypasses the cooler and allows the fluid to warm up quicker) .... it also has it's own front-mounted thermo fan on it as well for when it gets hotter (I am guessing traffic situations when towing heavy loads ... courier work ... etc). It is a bit on the pricey side though ... but well worth it. But FWIW ... the amount of heavy load work I give the ute in Sydney ... the PWR cooler works perfectly well and keeps trans temps down in the warmer weather ... especially when towing.

I am pretty sure Repco and the like stock them.
Although ... if you can ... get a LPD cooler ... Low Pressure Drop. I found the PWR trans cooler slightly affected shift performance as the pressure dropped slightly.
