my AUII futura (sedan) has a squeaking/squealing noise that occurs in the 10-20 second period after taking off for work in the morning.
The noise comes from the rear end somewhere, and sounds just like the squealy brakes some cars often get...but it is not the brakes - my place is on a hill, and i roll down the hill from the driveway with no brake or throttle applied. By the time i get to the flat part of the main road (as i said, 10 or 20 seconds later), the noise has stopped. the noise never occurs when i leave work in the afternoon, only leaving home in the morning. - possibly the diff? the car is parked on a slope overnight...pointed downhill All help will be greatly appreciated

I have the same model car with the similar problem.
I have been reading up on what it could be. First thing when I get the time, is to check the handbrake cable isnt engaging the pads to the discs. Might need to be adjusted. other than that, Im at a loss for words.
