G'day to ya all
I have just bought a 2001 AU Merlin V8 manual Ute, 2 seater, but unfortunately don't take delivery of it for a couple of weeks. Do Ford or any one else make a seat to fit between the bucket seats making it a three seater? |

Ford do make a 3 seater - but it is a column auto. Hand brake is relocated to the driver's side down by the seat and there is no console.

Now that is cool .... looks like a kiddy seat setup (with racing harness ... woo hoo) though ... for a normal adult to sit in it'd be a damn sight uncomfortable to sit with the console still in place.

I've been looking into doing this. Took one of the above pics to a place in Brisbane; was quoted $1480. to make fit and certify.

thats a great idea and to keep the bottom of the seat able to pull up and make use of the centre console.
