Default is anyone else the same?

i am currently working in Western OZ and my pride and joy resides in VIC... is it just me or does anyone in the same situation miss walking out to a beautiful piece of machinery jumping pushing that little start button and hearing that beautiful 290 roar to life thru an open zorst and the comfy seats and awesome gear knob... and the blue dash lights and of course looking over that big hoorrrnn looking buldge? then driving down the highway with lights on... (cause its a black ute and the lights make it easier to see... thats my story and im sticking to it!!) driving up in the right lane coming up to a slow car only to have them move out the way and let you through cause they know if they dont their car is gonna get eaten up LOL!!! is it just me??? got a bit carried away but i just really love my fpv.....
need a support group for this sort of thing... like with little bits of leather that smell like the interior and a steering wheel to hold maybe a cardboard car with engine noises and a buldge too lol

i cant be... i wont be the only one..... am i?

Maybe get another one for when in W.A.? I suppose that isn't truley realistic, OK, how about another idea, take a framed picture of said beast and obviously a framed picture of that special person, and put the two of them together next to your bed. At least that way you can still look at them when you wake up in the morning.

I think you should get a new job, why would you bother being so far away from the girl you love and your pride and job!

On the bright side though, the economic downturn may mean that you'll lose your job in the mines and be back in Melb before you know it! You could bring your gal back with you too

Nope. I work for an Electrical Contractor, believe it or not the name of the company is Auto Engineering. We have a major project finishing soon and as things are a bit quiet here at the moment I'll be returning to Sydney late next month.
