Hi,

Are you lights sealed beam?

The way I did it in my corty was to get new head lights that just took a standard H4 and H7 for the high beams, as my originals were seam beam units.

I changed the plugs over and soldered and heat shrunk the join and I never had a problem, from memory i ran crystal vision for the normal and some Arctic Blue for the highs and as i had the twin light set up my high beams were better then most new cars, and the normal beams were pretty good as well.

You should be able to get some replacement headlights that take the H4's from a Shop in the UK (sorry can't remember the name just now i was refered to it when i was looking for mine), or try rare spares; I ended up getting mine from Nepean Spares they just ordered them in as mine are just a common 5 and 1/4 inch enclosure.

Hops that helps.

BTW I’ve seen your build thread and your car looks awesome!

put some proper relays in. that should help a lot, and take the strain off the headlight switch

the relays should help with brightness, couldnt say how much though.
they'll help with a better more stable current.
