I may have done a dumb thing. I bought a cruise control off ebay to fit to the ute. It came from a fairmont. He says the loom for the actuator thingy is part of the main loom and mine should have it. It doesn't. I'm guessing the looming is different between models with CC standard and optional. If I'm right, what are my chances of finding that loom on its own? Or should I return it and find a complete one from ... which models? Thanks

yes you have to change the loom if you look behind your fuse box there is a big orange connector that's the loom u need it goes though the fire wall behind the brake booster you will also need the pressure switch on the brake master cylinder your Ute is a series 3 so make sure it comes of a series 2/3 as series 1 looms are different i assume you have the stork controls steering wheel back and and cruise swiches with all the parts quite an easy job
