Default TE how do you remove the headlight switch knob?

Gday,
i am going to fit a Te headlight switch assy in another car. i wanted to rotate the wiring around 180deg, ended up doing it but it was a fiddly job.
then i thought i might mount it in a different housing so i need to remove the knob to do that.

how do ya do that?

Default headlight switch

generally there is a button on the bottom of the switch body, hold it in and the knob and shaft pull out, unscrew the nut, change into new body, replace nut, replace shaft.
Cheers, Les
