Default Rear knocking - IRS

Hi
Had a really bad squeak coming from the rear drivers side after i got the car lowered (KYB shocks and King lows). Searched up on here and spoke to pedders and got the rear shock mount (i think thats what its called) replaced. The squeak is gone but im getting a faint/slight knocking/clunking sound. Will this go away as the mount is new, or is there possibly something else that has died? Such as a bush?

I'm not very familiar with the IRS setup so any help would be appreciated

cheers
Adam

Sounds like they haven't compensated for the difference in design between the new part and the old one. The new ones are slightly different and need to be packed up a little with a couple of washers to eliminate any slack. You really should have gotten both done at the same time too, they are a known problem part that wear out every 50-80k.

I put the spacers in to ensure that the shock is captured properly and it still clunks, its a real pita...

Awesome thanks heaps for that. I might have to look at getting that done soon (along with the power steering rack! It never ends!)

cheers
