A few years ago when that was out (don't remember seeing it on TV, maybe) it made the rounds everywhere on the internet. Very touching, very moving, easy to identify with. Great commercial.

....but even more than selling cars it was about family.

But US patriotism is a great thing for that market... especially with so much of congress hovering like vultures ready to pick apart Toyota so the US manufacturers can take their home market again.

Pulls at the heart strings. What an excellent way to appeal to 'middle America'. Terrific advert.

Is there a new Territory TV ad ? In a magazine there is an ad where the boy next door draws 5 stars on the driveway and the boy with the Kluger? papered to look like a Territory, looks on sadly..

I believe you are correct! It seemed like I saw it on TV but couldn't think where such a long ad would run.......of course, the Superbowl.

Certainly not being a Ford born child it must be said that the Ford ad at the top is easily the best.

Easily.

If some of you touchy feely blokes like that patriot for profit ad ("My Daddy Gave Me a Pony"), then a must see for you is "The Yearling" with an "OL' Yella" chaser .

A very good ad really. Maybe we could learn a little from this for OUR Car ads?
