Haha, seen the WolfMan (David Williams) do it on the footy show not too long ago . Looks pretty funny but not my cuppa tea to contribute too!

its not a new fad.. its a late caught on fad... i think its lost its touch, much like flashmobs.
Its a great concept when new, but extremely boring once mainstream.

A bloke in Gladstone was charged with "Planking a police car!"
Meh, I have been planking my bed my whole life. Now, if you want an awesome challenge, get a photo of yourself planking Megan Fox ftw. Otherwise, every other target is just lamo! lol

triple j have been talking about it for the last month or more. as of yesterday it 'jumped the shark'. apparently Kerrie Anne Kennelly opened her show by planking, so i think it might have lost its 'cool' factor

I would have to be one of the dumbest thing I have seen.
It really shows how 'simple' these people are.

To those that think it is harmless fun and they aren't doing any damage...... lets take the young bloke in Gladstone who did it on the cop car as the example. If it was your car he was lying on would you find it harmess fun.

I now understand how old I really am! I firstly had to Google the subject as i thought it was something to do with lengths of timber and once I discovered what it was all about, I desperately looked for one photo that made me at least smile. I just don't get it and didn't find it the slightest funny. I will say, it is better to see the young doing this rather than Tagging.

Plankers? Is that a new rhyming slang?
Hmmm, maybe I can get some sort of government grant to study its artistic, social, and economic implications... |

Well it's a simple concept, the places seem to just get more strange / extreme... like the one I was shown last night of three mates planking the scaffolding on the 80th story of a building they were working on.

That's planking ridiculous! Society is becoming more stupid by the day. Not funny nor entertaining.

If you can manage to have your legs and or upper torso and head unsupported then I think that qualifies as a "fully hektic plank" |
