Default AU T1/2 TS50 Kit

Hi all,

Just interested to know, does anyone have moulds or make copies of the AU T1/2 TS50 kit? I'm aiming on having a new body kit when I do a respray around December, and they seem to be rare as ever to get your hands on ahaha..

Here's a picture of what I mean:

I'm also sure that I'm not the only one to think this, but they're pretty sexy body kits

Genuine ones do come up from time to time on EBAY. There are fibreglass replicas of the T3 kit but don't think I've ever seen a T1/2 kit in fibreglass.

Hey nice looking car that lol. Wish mine had a sunroof.

Same as Jeff, never seen an aftermarket T1/T2 body kit. Doubt it's economical to produce.

I'd look for genuine on ebay. There's occasionally front and rear bumpers that appear. Or check with Carl perhaps? Probably your best chance.

"Who's Carl?"

Carls Performance Parts - Melbourne - has ebay store and lots of Tickford parts.

And I might add a damn good bloke to deal with.

Ok well I might have actually found someone :O

The guy who owns Phat Custom Kits in Dandenong said that he might have a TS50 T1 kit somewhere in his warehouse, he might sell that one but might make copies, dunno what he would charge though...

Would be great if he can make copies, I'm sure there are people out there (me) that need a body kit for their cars.

Macman your ts is very nice love the colour. i've always loved that front end. i had a ts 3 front on my ute but its a bit low, but i like the series 1 and 2 grill. there was a grill on ebay but its not much good without the bumper. i think that front on my ute would look abit different, i have considered a fairlane front but again parts are rare to find for these aswell.

I'm on a mission to find out where to get one this afternoon haha. Titan ford in WA said that the T series body kits aren't available from Ford any more, which is a bummer... although they did say they gave some moulds to the Spoiler shop in Myaree when they stopped selling them, so that might be worth a go me thinks!

Will call them tomorrow

It found me lol...

your best of either taking your time and watching ebay or FTG auto salvage in victoria might also be worth a call, they are a big ford wreckers that have wrecked a few T series over the years, they also repaired a few damaged TE/TS50 front bars with genuine ford parts. might be worth getting one sent over.

Cheers Cam

So I finally got a phone call from one of the guys at the spoiler shop, and they got the T3 moulds not the T/2 moulds, Darn.

On the flip side, its a bit extra to pay but you can get plastic T3 body kits from there with the original moulds if ever going to go that way hahaah...

On the other hand, this popped up...

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/AU-TICKFO...#ht_500wt_1180

You guys were right about Carl, pity that I'm looking for a new job and I won't need one until December... someone should certainly snap it up quickly, cause FTG auto salvage has matching rear bar and side skirts for $400 too

Would love to get the contact details if they can make plastic T3 front + rear bars, would be great to have a spare set (touch wood) they are damaged.

Sorry ride only just looked at this thread again lol...

Spoiler shop are in Myaree WA, quick google search and you can find them. A lot of body kits there.

Opening up an old thread here, but may have found a place doing fiberglass T1/T2 kits in Brisbane called Bumpers Online. Currently have a genuine front bar on ebay:

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/AU-TE-50-...#ht_500wt_1287

Although they state on their website that they do fiberglass copies of genuine bars also, so will call tomorrow to check if they are doing replicas of the kits!
