Default AU IRS LSD Diff

Hey All,
Im about to start towing and launching a jetski and was thinking about getting an LSD installed for the better grip on the boat ramp and just towing in general (if that makes sense)
I have an AU11 Fairmont Ghia (IRS)
My question is, has anyone done the swap or had it done and for what price? And would it be worth it/necisary for anyone that tows or launches boats? And finally does the traction controll work with the LSD?
My gears are already the 3.45 ratio so it should just be the components inside the housing that need changing???

so any feedback would be great to help me make up my mind,
thanks

You don't need an LSD - your active T/C will help you retrive your boat just as good. Save your money.

T3man is right.

LSD isnt really necessary for towing purposes. If its an auto id invest in a Trans cooler though (if you havent already).

Thanks for the replys,
yer i had thought about the T/C and figured it would do the same thing but i also thought that if it only cuts the power and applys brakes then it might not be the same as both wheels working together if i hit slippery stuff on the ramp. But i guess itll work,
i know in its previous life it must have done some towing becasue it had a towpack and was from the country but yer thanks for the tip, i might look into the trans cooler.
cheers

Chances are if it had a tow pack installed already, then a trans cooler would have been installed at the same time

I wouldn't be too concerned - jetskis on trailers (even the whizzy new ones) weigh not very much...trans cooler and save your coin as others have said
