Default What did you do to your car today?

I thought I would post this up to see what everyone is up to car wise, no specific models, no specific makes.

Did you service your car, did you buy something shiny for it?

Me well I grabbed some front pod things off fleabay for my 2008 BF XR6 Mk 2, it's got the Rebel/aggressor side skirts but didn't have the front pod things.

They will need to be painted when they arrive as they are the stock grey colour but have blue accents whereas my car is red.

Tell me what your up, and go..

Booked it in for 2 new (front) tyres on Wednesday. Can't wait to get rid of the crappy Dunlop SP9000's that I've been using for the past few years. Picked up new Michelin Pilot Sport PS3's for $250- a corner :-)

Missus reversed the Territory into the EA. $Ca-ching, both out of action. Nice big hit so both cars shorter than manufacturer specs.

Not worroed about Tezza, but worried about EA and insurance company writing it off for what is repairable damage.

Cleaned out the accumulated tid bits (like receipts), sorted and secured the semi permanent stuff in the back, put in a new air freshener thingy and chucked together a plastic surround for my rear power sockets

In your thumbnail it looks like a pair of woman's shoes and I thought the thread title should be "what did you do IN your car today"!

I didn't do anything but my son stepped in a nice sticky clay puddle at a cemetery at a funeral and then walked it into the back seat. Kids - why do we have them?

Over 30 minutes pressure washing wheels and brakes to remove tar after the council did repairs to my street.
Then another 45 minutes of bug and tar remover on the wheels.
Haven't got to the bodywork yet.
Annoying when the GTP has only done 4,000k's!!!

Had some quality time at the local dyno for an AFR check and general talk %^&* session. Saw some tough cars, with a certain Phantom Turbo 6 in the build with a requirement for over 500.

Mine made 450 and 1130NM at the rear wheels with safe (fat) fuel trim, just under 14psi. Happy days.
