Hey yallzers,
Just wondering if anyone can tell me the size of the Ford badge on the tail gate of an AU Falcon ute. I measured the badge on the (low series) bonnet and it's roughly 115x45mm, I'm assuming the rear badge is identical? A search on eBay came up with two possible candidates: 115x45mm, and 150x60mm The 150mm badge seems excessively large however. I tried trawling through parts database documents and threads on FF...there's plenty of information on the Tickford stuff but nada on the Blue Oval itself. If anyone can shed some light on this it'd be greatly appreciated. |

Yeh 115 sounds about right. It does have two sort of spikes on the back of it though that go into the holes that are in the tailgate.

Cool. The tailgate on my Ute had the holes glassed or welded, but I don't think it'll be a problem as all the badges I've found so far don't have the spikes.
I got the Falcon badge back on by snapping the spikes off. |

You mean you don't want a Ranger badge that's as big as your head??
