Hi All,
Im in the process of getting my Cortina Mk2 back on the road. It has the 4 speed column shift which is not shifting well. I inspected the linkages and found 2 bushes completly missing and others that need replacing. I think I have identified the missing ones see attached pic #1 is missing and seems to be 12.7mm 1/2inch Inside Diameter, 19.05mm 3/4 Outside Diameter but I'm not sure how long and I guess it is flanged. I am considering BF0127-0191-0381-BS2432TH #2 and #4 seem to be the same, they are still in place but it would be nice to replace them anyway they seem to be 6.35mm 1/4 in ID, 14.287mm 9/16 OD and 8mm long with a flange but I cant find a suitable replacement. #3 is missing and seems to be 9.525mm 3/8 in ID, 15.87mm 5/8 OD and 8mm long?? I am considering BF0095-0159-0095-BS1932TT and making it fit. Does anyone know the recommended bush sizes? Does anyone know where these bushes can be sourced? And your thoughts on my plan? Any other recomendations to get the column shift operating well? Thanks in advance Ray |

Hi Foxtrot3 and GTLEGEND,
Yes I spoke with Yesterford but they can't help. The EBay listing looks interesting, great info there, but I think I will see how I go getting bronze bushes to suite, they look like plastic? I may contact him and see if he has anything else. Thanks again! Cheers Ray |

Hi 39ClevoUte,
Yep, if I had access to a lathe that is what I would do. I thought about 3d printing but I think they may not last long. Hopefully I can find a supplier of bronze bushes in the required size even if I have to fine tune them... Thanks for your thoughts! Cheers Ray |

I'd troll a few industrial estates and I reckon you would find someone willing to do it.
