Had to get some parts off TUFED-6 tonight so we met up with him at Albert Park Lake. I must say - that car is awesome John! And to everyone else, NER NER we got to ride in a 460rwkw ED lol : nah joking. But it was pretty cool. And hard to believe the car is running a standard T5!
Here's some pics of mine, John's and Sunny's green machine. Sorry about the quality, it was dark. |

I've got a spare output on the Microtech configured to switch them on and off though. Also thinking about an electric water pump too. Those two mods combined are probably good for 20kw or so. - John |

Hey John, are you going to be attending the dyno day?? I would LOVE to see this puppy in person. When will you stop chasing power?! It's going to be good for 500 at the rear bags soon enough.

Edy Tassone did a 1000rwhp run through a T5 in 4th gear and it held together for the run. I think they are stronger than people sometimes give them credit for. All the power in my car comes on from the mid to top end, which plays a part- it isn't really getting shocked like a car with alot of low-down torque would. The clutch is a MRD 2.5ton single plater. Which takes a bit of getting used to. I've done the firewall reinforcing mod, but I expect to break the clutch cable any day now. As i've said a few times in the past, the plan is to ditch it and put an auto in it. At the moment I'm thinking a powerglide and a 4000rpm stall converter. - John |

I'm looking at auto conversion...cause I've had a couple of T5's let go. And i've only got 270rwkw. I'm running a Extreme Clutches Cusion Button...BA type plate.

When will I give up? Depends how close to a 9sec quarter I can do with the current setup. If we run a bit more boost and rev it a bit harder theres more power to be had, but we're kind of getting into dangerous territory for the bottom end then. Alot of 'ifs' there!! The main reason for building a turbo Falcon was to embarass Skyline and LS1 drivers. It's pretty good at that already! ;) - John |

Was the car an EA or EB1 before? I noticed your washer bottle lid is different to mine.
I turboed mine to beat skylines and LS1's as well. I just need more power to do it convincingly.
