G'day fellow ford lovers

The names Tim, I am 17 and I have just started an automotive apprenticeship at CentreFord here in Perth. I love everything ford from the old school x series right up untill the bf's.

I dont actually have a car at the moment but i used to hav an El falcon s pak
unfortunately my parents sold it on me so i am looking out to buy an old v8 falcon (should be soon).

Cant think of nething else to say right now but look forward to viewing/discussing with u all on the forums.

Cheers

Tim

The West Australian published a full page add, which I think all papers did of that unforgettable event :

I called The West newspaper, they told me Ford owned the pic. I chased up centre ford and told them to track them down.

I think it took about 2 months but finally they came this week. A full poster size pic..

I think most dealerships would have got a couple. Goin to look great on my wall.

Good luck geting one

Mate good luck for the apprenticeship & wish you the best but, the last thing I want is some 1st yr apprentice taking my XR8 out for a spin, I know only too well the temptation.

I remember what happenened to my Bro's VY SS when the "apprentice" took it for a "test drive". Cost the Holden dealer a few bob & a customer.

Yer i kno wat u mean but i drive very sensibly wen it comes to others peoples cars. U dont get a chance to do nething stupid neway in my opinion. But yer id b the same if i had a nice car i barely drive customers cars neway jus mainly cars that havnt been sold and jus shifting them round in an around the garage and taking them to the pretol station 1 minute away.

Mate good attitude and i am sure you will get on well. Hope you enjoy your apprenticeship. BTW, it's not always the "apprentices" who do the wrong thing with cusotmer's cars.

Good luck with it.
I was considering a mech. apprenticeship, but wasn't feeling it 100% at the time.. Might still do one at the end of the year (year 12 now), but i'll see how I go.

Have fun now
