I just had a stock take of all the wheels that I have lying around at my place, parent’s backyard, grandparent’s place, mechanic’s workshop and including spares I’ve got 42 wheels (only 17 of which can fit my road car which gets tracked occasionally).
12 of them (3 sets) are from my first road car (before it started to be built in to a race car – now they wont be suitable for the bigger wider slick tyres) and 12 of them (3 sets) were from my first Honda (4 nut pattern) and don’t suit my current Honda (5 nut pattern). Do I have a problem? None of them are schmick in looks or in condition, most of them were used for mounting R-rated “track” tyres. Am I the only one or do other people wind up with a whole heap of spare bits and pieces from past cars/projects. |
