That's got to be a photochop, the XR wheels would not be rated to take the weight

Its the real deal, New Zealand jobbie, Wouldnt pass a roadworthy here, as for the high roof thats so you have more room to climb around in the back!

yeah you can see the NZ LIMO plates..although I am sure some good P/Sers could do that. The company must have a link somewhere.

yeah its a real car. but theres noooo way you could register that think here in oz. the laws are extremely strict on limo conversions. the donor car must be wieghed and have a full torsion and beam test, and thats even before you cut it up !! then once its done it has to have full ADR approval on everything and another torsion and beam test etc. i have heard stories where engineers have tested chassis and twisted them to the point where the rear window explodes and the chassis is un-usealbe...so its back to the drawing board.
Also in oz (most states) you have to start with a luxury car to turn it into a limo (like a fairlane or a statesman) , so unfortuanetly an XR is not an option. Ive seen heaps of NZ limos made out of stock EA falcons !! some very dodgy ones too !! |

Thats a boat trailer on the back BTW, I had a look inside, and it just looks stock, except with a bit more foot room.

I service a ba fairlane for a limo company on the coast that has that length stretch done to it.
But the roof line is a lot better. Ian

http://www.fordforums.com.au/showthr...ght=turbo+limo and then funnily enough it drove past me last week when I was out walking the dog. It doesn't look to bad on the road, would be better in black though. |
