Default Hmm what to do Re; Ebay seller

Ok here goes I bought my daughter a gamespack for the pc with buy it now
of $25 and post of $10 that is fair enough! now the catch

The seller has emailed me private and through ebay asking this

(Hey mate

can i ask you a favour? can we please say that there has been a transaction error so i dont have to pay some unessaecary ebay fees?

cheers
mario )

Now as I see it its not an unnecessary fees as if you use you pay right?
and maybe $2 isnt that bad but I have 100% feedback so far and dont want this clown upsetting that.

Any thoughts or am I being unreasonable?

TIA

Can the transaction all together, forward the email onto ebay. This should not upset your feedback rating. Ebay is so full of scams now I refuse to use it.

dont do anything till you recieve the item.
notify ebay.
leave appropriate feedback.
as far as i know since you clicked the buy it now button, the transaction has already been done and ebay will have already sent him a bill.

Just wait until you get the goods. Then report him/her. Good luck.

If you give him neg feedback, he might do the same to you and you will lose your 100% feedback. Just wait till you get your item and then send the whole email to ebay and let them know.

Geez Ebay has gone right down hill!
What a shocker. Tell him to get stuffed, once the gear shows up of course.

Just gotta roll with the times I guess.

I'd ignore the email. If the goods come through, leave it at that. If not, report the whole transaction to ebay.

I think it might be part of a broader dispute of sellers vs Ebay:

Doesnt really matter how it was meant, it's still inappropriate. Maybe once you have been around here a little longer you may come to realise that. Any way back to the topic...

I had a mario buy something off me for a set price, after he agreed to buy it and when he was here to pick it up he offered me less...............bloody cheap a$$ mario's.

If he does leave you bad feedback send eBay the copy of the email he sent you to rip eBay off then eBay should delete his bad feedback.

If the item arrives in good order and as was described in the add and he leaves you positive feedback I wouldn't worry about it - as he has only a requested if you would dodge eBay fee's not a demand.

PERSONALLY when ever I buy an item off eBay I do not leave feedback for the seller until they have left me feedback for me.

None of this rubbish after I leave feedback for them they will leave it for me - if i am the buyer and I have paid the same day I won the auction then the seller should leave me feedback straight away - no questions and no conditions

In the last month alone I've dealt with ebay sellers outside ebay. If you ask for a similar product but it's not listed, unless they post it on ebay you've got no choice but to deal this way - direct with seller.

Ebay is going down hill very fast, there are whole area's of ebay that have shrunk in size because sellers have pulled out, figure's of up to 70% in many items. There just isn't the stock on ebay for sale like there was even compared to a year ago.
