I'm not sure if it was this one or not, but there was one similar in Fast Fours or one of those mags a little while back, I don't think it was this one though as i remember it looking a little better.

Been around for years. This is the only one in existence that is this well put together. The NZ rego authorities knocked it back for the same reasons the RTA would over here (i.e. just about everything!). Including the power/wheelbase (stabilty) ratio.

actually as scary as it is, the NZ regs are so 'lax that its probably just fine for rego... it looks to have lights and indicators...thats all ya need lol!!
the thing would absolutley fly....it'd be quarter the weight of a wrx...... |

I remember this being in Fast Fours. it was a little back page article. They included a quote from the NZ authorities as to why they wouldn't look at it. It was pretty blunt! made you feel for the builder as he claimed to have poured about 100K into it! The engine is not STI at all but out of something like a Leone import. I just can't see 100K in it, but having spent copious $$$ on cars myself I could also say that about some of my projects!
