hi peeps
on my AU when i go to lock the car with the control the lock goes down then comes up again and then it lets the horn go off but when i do it with the key it locks fine and unlocks fine with the key but when i use the control to unlock it all the doors are unlock except the drivers door any ideas. |

lock it with the key, then go around and pull on each of the door handles, one of the actuators will be the problem, whichever door opens that will be the one....unless more than one does lol...apparently they're pretty easy to replace, i don't know, i've never had to do it before...

yer ive done that its the drivers door that opens. but the mechanizm has a funny sound to it its not normal.

that's the broken one then, you need to replace that one and it will be ok

Take the trim off and you will need a spline bit to pull the lock out, it's a really simple job
The drivers one is a bite more compllicated than the others due to the key & button. |

You need a set of torx bits i think. Also i think the wiring changes with the AU lock actuator but whichever spare parts you buy it from will probably let you know. And supply you with the new wiring kit.
