Default Coffee addicts?

Who hear is additced to coffee? Whether its in the morning, midday, or at night, I just help myself.

I love freshly ground african bean coffee, and since we have our 'saeco' coffee machine at work, I cant get enough of it with frothy milk and chocky powder on it like a cappacino. By the ned of the day, Im on a friggin buzz! :

Whats your favourite?

I will try to avoid instant if I can. It just doesnt taste like coffee. I mostly drink plunger coffee at home and I'll buy fresh coffee from a cafe if I'm outside. Probably do that once a week.

I really only drink coffee when I'm relaxing. Its one of those things I think that needs to be tasted and not just drunk.

I have always wondered why people like coffee. I can't stand the stuff personally-yuck. Good old Coke, Redbull, V or No Dos to pump me up.

*sigh* being stuck in the UK at the moment, they don't know what good coffee is.

absolutely everywhere uses these automatic dispensers including cafe's

It produces something they call coffee, but similar only in colour.

I'm having major coffee withdrawl's trying to make up for the shortfall with Tea.

Have filter at work, plunger at home.
I agree with you about instant coffee, personally I think it tastes too much like american coffee.

For sydney siders who love their coffee, try some "casalingo" blend from caffe bianchi in Leichardt marketplace. It's between 18-24 dollars a kilo depending on how much you buy (for us usually 10kg at a time), and they'll grind it there for you. I'll warn you though, this flavour is for those who take their coffee black and with no sugar - it is probably the best coffee I've ever had.
As most coffee connoisseurs know, italy is famous for their coffee and trust me, casalingo is one of the best examples of that.

There's nothing like getting back to the parents' place once in a while...
Freshly ground coffee (they've got a grinder) coming out of a rather nice espresso machine. Wonderful.

We had a Saeco machine at work. On a scale of 1 to 10, 1 being instant and 10 being Barrista-made, I'd give it a 4.

It was one of those automatic deals. Pour in beans, fill the tank, press button, and coffee gets made.

I agree and disagree.

Most good coffee machines are programmable for grind, strength etc. I have a Saeco machine too, and after some fine tuning I turned my "4" into a comfortable 8.5/9 out of 10. Crema and all.

A good Barrista is a magic thing though. I haven't met a machine as good, but a well tuned coffee machine can certainly give an average Barrista a scare.

A good espresso is still King of the kids for me.
