Default Rip Curl Falcon Ute

Just seen an add for a special edition Rip Curl Falcon ute, looks good, comes with water proof seats, momo steering wheel, 18 inch wheels, and the colour of the ute in the add is bloody great, its like a aqua of some sort!!

I think the colour is Neo. Agree, with the hard cover, looks very good. I like the name as well

think its actually "breeze" Bucky, very similar to Reef Green that was on EF falcons. Ive seen one of these utes in the flesh, theyre not too bad but I hate the colour. Badges are pretty cool but essentially its just another XR ute with seatcovers.

They had one at the Adelaide motor show. They look good but I would pull the oversized Ripcurl stickers off.

It is just a tart up, but a very good one; well the idea any way.

I still think they should have done a Orange KTM version, or a Blue Yamaha etc. But I guess Rip Curl will do.

God I hope they dont do a bogan spec Bundy Ute; comes with four antennas, Kenworth muds flaps and a 50 pack of cheap *** pub stickers.

KTM version is actually a great idea - octane, mandarin or blood orange would be perfect for it.

Yeah i agree but maybe a motocross brand like Fox, or something similar as bike brand would probably stir up feelings among the dirt bike community

From the Ford Oz site:

"The Rip Curl Falcon XR Utes celebrate Ford's sponsorship of the 2007 Rip Curl Pro surfing event at Easter and will go on sale in April to coincide with the event," Mr Gorman said.
"With a number of special Rip Curl features, the unique package offered by the limited edition Falcon XR Utes is sure to attract the attention of recreational customers."
Offering more than $3,200 of additional features for just $500 over the recommended retail price of the standard XR Utes, the Rip Curl pack will be available on XR6, XR6 Turbo and XR8 Styleside Box models, including the XR6 with the E-Gas dedicated LPG engine.
Additional features on the Rip Curl models includes a set of four 18-inch sports alloy wheels, Momo steering wheel, prestige audio system with six-disc in-dash CD player, 'Rip Curl' branded XR waterproof seat covers and 'Rip Curl' decals.
"The limited edition Rip Curl Falcon XR Ute is a great value package and a truly unique vehicle," Mr Gorman said.
"And in special recognition of the Rip Curl Pro's 35th anniversary this year, we'll also be offering retail customers the chance to win one of five surfing trips with some of Rip Curl's professional surfers.
"This once-in-a-lifetime experience, for five lucky customers and their best mate, is set to take place at the end of the 2007 surfing season."

If it is priced right ... I'll have a white one ... delete the stickers ... and install injected LPG ... replace the tub with a tray (make tub into trailer) ... hmmmmm ... watch out pedestrians ... there's a quicker courier around town

So the decals on it are only two badges where they'd have 'magnet' on a magnet pack ute??
