Hi guys,
I want to install a flashlube kit on my SR soon and want to hook it in to the same spot they did the other one on my wagon. To do that, I need to get a plastic piece that fits underneath the ISC valve. It's in the third picture (is white - although pretty grubby LOL!), with the black hose attached. You can see the smaller flashlube hose grafted in with the T-piece piping. Any idea what the piece is called, and how much? This seems the best place to me, as it's easy to get to, and the one on the wagon hasn't given me any hassles. http://www.fordforums.com.au/showpos...71&postcount=5 Cheers all. GK

Hi George
Not sure of the name, probably a vacuum port. Wonder why your 2001 model doesn't have one and if it is standard on the 1999. If not standard on the 1999 model where did the other vacuum hose attatch to? Where does the other vacuum line run to that the flashlube is grafted into? Maybe find the corresponding line in your 2001 model as it may just attatch differently to the intake. Also if you do get one make sure that the bolts that hold the ISC valve on are long enough to go through the valve and the vacuum port. |

GK, was that fitted at the same time as the actual flashlube kit? flashlube themselves don't have anything about it on their website, the only kits i can find are universal and just have a t piece to connect to a vacuum hose

i've also seen links in google to ebay for apparently cheaper ones, but it has a retailer list there somewhere as well, either that or you can buy it online, still looking for that part, i'll let you know if i find it |
