Hey Guys,
I've done a few things to the EF over the past week. Firstly, I put a semi-decent sound system in it. Just a Panasonic MP3 head unit and some Sony speakers, it may not be a competition winner, but it does me. Secondly, I've dumped it on it's ***!! Superlows all round and Ultima short stroke shocks in the back. I'll replace the front ones when they die. It's bloody low, I can't get into the driveway anymore and I found that out the hard way! I got in with a little bit of muffler scrapage then when I went to reverse out the exhaust caught on the flange on the cat and would not budge! lol. Just have a quick question about the upper balljoints, I stuffed the thread on the L/H one when I was putting it back together so I'm using a wheel nut off the EA till I buy 2 new ones tomorrow, yes dodgy I know, but it did up smoothly and it's done up to the FT torque setting!! My question is, do they come with the nuts and split pin and whats the best way of getting them out?? I have a good quality hydraulic puller set, but I don't know if this'll do the job. Have any of you guys got them out at home or is it a case of pulling the spindles out and making a trip to the mechanic? What are they generally worth?

As soon as I've got my rego all paid and out of the way next month, the ball will start rolling. I'm looking a injectors and a wastegate at the moment, but I don't want to max out the credit card! lol.

I'm pretty sure you can take the knuckles in to a suspension joint and get a change-over pair, but it depends on what you want to spend.
Waiting for turbo here too..:P Sundeep |

No chance of raising it again!!
I love the way it sits now, it could be a bit lower if anything. Just needs a decent set of 17's or 18's now, but the quest for 250rwkw is sucking all my money at the moment.

Yeah, I don't mind the stocky look, but I'd deffinately prefer some nice 18's!
I did some research on a 3in exhaust and cooler piping today. There's a place here that are quite keen to do it pretty cheap if I put one of their stickers on my car. I'm willing if it saves me a decent whack of cash! They quoted my $340 for a 3in mandrel cat back system and want to have a look at what's involved in cooler piping, but have given me an informal total of about $500 for both!! I'll have to suss out what he's using for the cooler piping though coz I've heard mild steel isn't a great idea.

those prices are a bargain!
generally the 3" cat back is $500+ cooler piping up around $600+
