I went and saw The Departed, today. Great gangster flick !!! Jack Nicholson is awesome !! If you like gangster movies, this has it all, lots of violence, not much sex...

I saw it the other night as well. Not bad overall. Its worth seeing and had quite a few laughs in the cinema, especially with the top notch blood splatter effects. However, its not the kind of movie you would watch over and over again IMO.
As a stand alone movie, for 2 1/2hrs it kept my attention well, but I won't rush to watch it again. 3.5 out of 5 stars.

Saw it last night... It got 5 stars in the Herald Sun movie guide... I'd give it maybe 3 1/2?
DiCaprio was a surprise though... never much liked him, but was great in this! And yes, That Children of Men looks as though it'll be ok, hopefully not just "another end of the world" flick
