I was assisting the Brimbank TMU unit today at the main rail crossing in St Albans located at Main Road East and St Albans Road. I am trying to figure out why some drivers, choose to ignore police in bright yellow vests waving them to stop, ignore big white div vans with flashing lights, ignore rail crossing red lights and boom gates down and try to drive across rail lines when a train is coming. We had this near miss and four other close misses with pedestrians all within the spate of an hour. That is why our road toll is so damn high. There are quite a few drivers who are just morons on our roads. I wonder how they get licences. Enough any how, here are some other close calls
