hi guys,
i bouhgt some munroe gt's the other day caue my old shocks were making a bit of noise. put them in, no probs up until today. but now there making more noise then the old shocks. i told the guy that the car WILL be getting lowered. At the moment its got standard s-pack springs. is there a diff between lowered and standard shocks |

are they front or rears? i had the same prob with the rears on my old EF. they were all good for a couple of days then really noisy.......turned out that i had done them up with the car on the jack still (unloaded) and when it was back on the ground it was loaded up and driving in this position caused the bolts to come loose. so crawled under (hard with superlows) and did them up again on the ground and all was good
there is a difference with standard and lowered shocks, lowered have a shorter stroke |

thanx mate, sounds like InitialD had the same shocky knock in the rear as me. i crawl under and and give the bolts a tighten tomorrow.

I too had this same problem with my EL. I just tightened them then, and there is no knock when I push on the back of the car any more. I'm about to go for a drive and test it some more.
