Default What do YOU think my car is worth

Well its DEFINATELY not for sale but however i am wondering what people think its worth id say its in Very good condition for its age... Its Very smooth and cumfy to drive

The car is a Cardinal Red 1992 EB II Falcon GLi Sedan

Its got Power steering and A/C (duh)

Professionally Lowered (Pedders Superlow Springs and Struts)

16" EF XR6 Tickford alloys (Genuine) (90% 225 Simex Tyres)

EBII XR6 interior in good nick (usual wear in drivers seat (tho it will be fixed))

JVC MP3 CD Tuner, US Audio 800W Amp, Cadance 300w Amp Pioneer 800W 12" Sub Alpine Type S Fronts and stocko Pioneers in the back

Leather EB2 Ghia Steering wheel

2.5 Inch Sports Exhaust exiting through twin 2.5" Chrome tips (Sounds Great)

3.27:1 Single Wheel diff

EF BTR 4 Speed auto Trans (Perfect shift)

EF XR6 Tickford 4.0 Motor (BBM, 300kpa Reg, New Water Pump, Plugs, Leads, Oil and has a Dizzy) Really Smooth Quiet motor recently made 113.8 RWKW

Serpantine belt

EF Thermo Fans

EF/EL Radiator

EF Startermotor

New brakes all round (Discs and Pads)

Week old Darkest Legal Window Tint (note Pics taken before the tint)

Now the bad bits
VERY slight Ding in Rear Quater Gotta hold ya tounge the right way to see it

Crack in rear bumper (to be replaced shortly)

2 or 3 stone chips in windscreen

I know its proberbly not worth much but im wondering what people would pay for such a car

Dan,

I'd estimate value around $5000 with reg and RWC.

Smooth car, drive more like an EF and less like a EB.

Wow that conversion looks tidy as. It's definitely towards the higher end of typical EB values. Unfortunately the buying public tend not to view mods (such as your XR6 conversion) as value-adding to the car. Well, not by much anyway.

I hope you get top dollar for it.

Ive bought 2 tickford heads for less than $350 each.

Still I would expect to get more than $4000 for that car. Its pretty mint!

Eh?

http://www.fordforums.com.au/showthread.php?t=8781

I sold the head for $350, threw in the rocker cover for free.

I think the rocker cover was working when it got sold as well.

Niko. I'm not taking away from the 'specialness' of an XR engine. But my $60 second hand wade cam makes 25rwkw more in a stock head, than what a stock XR head would flow. So why are they worth $500 again?

It's a nice car nudge. But in the end, the work you've put into it will only be appreciated by someone in the know. It's a standard car to someone who doesn't know.

original tikford item, bigger exhaust valves and better valve springs thats half the 500 there, usually rockers come with it and are around 100 in good condition so there is your money not even including the head itself

I'm sure the apprentice at tickford had fun spray painting the standard valve springs red

How much bigger are the exhaust valves? I have proof. You have hear-say without evidence.
