they are a set of 20X8.5 plus pre au offset spacers and lowering. i simply thought this particular place were overpriced, as i had seen the same rim cheaper elsewhere.

Mate... For the above items i would say that $4200 sounds about right..

Lets assume:

$200 hub adapters
$800 for lowering.. including new shocks and springs
$3200 20" inch Jestaults wit rubber..

$4200 TOTAL

Your prob find even the cheap 20" tyres are around $300 - $400 mark each... Which is $1200 - $1600 for tyres alone..

Price sounds pretty fair actually..

Cheers,
Nik

Try tempetyres.com.au - they stock most gestault virouge rims and for what I thought as reasonable pricing.

If you have found this combination cheaper at another place why are you complaining? Just go buy them from the other place. You are talking about Premium wheels/tyres I hope you realize - so that price would be about the normal.

Cheers

Its gonna cost a packet for tyres when they need replacing, so if u think the 4 grand is steep u obviously cant afford to maintain 20" wheels. Just paid $1650 for a nice set of 18"s that I can get tyres for $200 each and thats pushin my budget!

I'm glad someone else noticed the items on his shopping list, and yes I agree this does sound like a fair price.

then choose a different rim..

for all the stuff you want, price sounds right.

20's arnt exactly cheap. maybe 19's will suit your budget a little better.

I remember 17" ROH rims were over 2 grand a couple of years ago, its much cheaper to buy 18 or 19 inch rims now! 20 inch rims would be over 5G's a year or 2 ago so the price isnt too bad!

Why don't you just get 19" FPV GT's - e series copy

One sexy looking rim and you won't have to buy hub adapters.

And they will be easier to sell the the time comes

And 19" Tyres will come down to !8" prices soon...............

i will definately take into consideration all the different styles of wheels suggested.

obviously prices in rim designs and brands fluctuate in price, just a bit overwhelmed.

what are the bf gt or gtp 19 mock ups worth roughly.

There is a set on eBay at $2,300 with tyres - this same seller has them in 18" $1,400 and 17" $1,100 as well - pretty sure they will be in the trading post as well

click link:- http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ALLOY-MAGS-5-...ayphotohosting

Also another seller on eBay for just the 19" rims for $1,499 but I think you have to pay another $100 for e-series offset:- http://cgi.ebay.com.au/A-FORD-FALCON...QQcmdZViewItem

And 19" with Tyres for $2,499 (plus $100 for e-series offset - I THINK) http://cgi.ebay.com.au/A-FORD-FPV-GT...QQcmdZViewItem
