I have been looking high and low for some new rims for the mondeo. I have come to the conclusion that the easy option would be the focus mp3 rims. So I am looking for some, if anyone know where I can get some let me know.

Ebay is usually an option, no doubt you have been sitting there for a while though! Try Wheel King, they've usually got wheels. I must say, a nice set of 17's will really make your Mondeo look fantastic.

I'm assuming your Dealer is using Nankangs or something to keep the price down if it's a cost issue? I for one would demand nothing but the best tyres, crap tyres are the LAST thing I'd put in my car. Hell I'd put in crap fuel before I put on crap tyres. I have experimented with Michelin Pilot Precedas and whilst awesome in the dry, they have absolutely nothing on the Eagle F1's in the wet. It's a hands down win the to Eagle F1's for price and performance, they can't be beaten. About the only tyre I'd get over the Eagles if money was no option, is the Continental ContiSport Contact 2, standard on ST170 and XR5 Turbo. You're looking about $300 per tyre for the Contis, vs about $220 for hte Michelins and roughly $230 for the Eagles.

hey zetec yer, the dealer didnt have Goodyear Eagle F1's or anything reputable. they wanted to charge 220 pt for Nankangs. or Nexxans. local import stuff.
i dont doubt all those tyres where great but my dealer didnt give me the option.

$220 per tyre for Nankangs EGADS!!!!!! That must be the full retail with Dealer markup! I wouldn't pay more than $150-160 for that crap. No idea the RRP, but dang...
When my money talks, my Dealer walks... to wherever he has to go to get what I want!! I'm happy to pay for good quality and only use factory parts on my car for services.

hate to be a bubble burster, but i find the GS-D3's to really not have enough straight line grip in the wet. absolutely fantastic lateral grip, but i had real issues getting off the line in the wet.

True... NCTs are pretty bad, they were the standard tyre I had on my Focus before the 17s went on.
