When I was in Holland last month I stumbled across this ( www.fordmuseum.nl ) Ford museum in Hillegom.
It is the world's biggest collection in numbers but not models. For example he has about 30 each of models T, A, B, etc., and the collection stops at year 1948. Except for some interesting variations like a one off model T travelling popcorn selling van, all the cars on display are meticulously restored. His collection of 1932 V12 Lincolns is superb including one 2980kg monster of which only 5 were manufactured. In the 1946-48 era he has some beautiful slopers and coupes in both Ford and Lincoln. I've taken some shots but my camera is set on high definition so I have to download to photobucket before I can post them. |

I've always wanted to go to Holland for a holiday (since my grandparents were Dutch), and now I've got another reason for wanting to go
