Clears look a lot nicer. I had ambers for ages, and didn't mind them, but the clears make the front of the car look a lot tidier. $44.25 is about average for clear indicators. There are cheaper ones on ebay but once you factor in postage, they end up about the same. Mine ended up being about $45 including postage. They were worth it though. Here's some more on ebay for comparison

there not that bad, they still work, lol, but the clear ones clean up the front end sooooooooo much. $44 sounds a tad to high i paid 35or something in the 30's for mine from ebay.

After

Not too hard. You unplug the headlights and indicators and undo the 4 bolts that hold them in. The indicators are attached to the headlights via 3 screws. One of the issues you may find is that the headlights could catch the back of the bumper, making it a ***** to get the lights out. I managed to pry mine past the bumper but I know a lot of others had to take the bumper off. If you can get a screw driver that you can attach sockets on the end of, it'll make it a lot easier to undo the bolts for the headlights as well.

Each! Unless they're genuine Ford ones, that's not such a great deal. $60 per pair is quite expensive

I paid $20 for my pair, the guy at the wreckers obviously never knew what they are worth.

my AU3 repeaters for the EB were from bayford parts, brand new & genuine, i believe they were $35 for the pair. If you're going to use em though, PUT EM IN THE RIGHT WAY! A lot of people take the easy way out and put them in backwards. It's easy enough to adapt them to fit the way they do on an AU. (even without grinding the metal behind the guard)

i also bought the NF/NL repeaters for my old EL from the same spot.

I think he was referring to front indicators, not side repeaters

the ambers suck and i hate them!!! my first pair i got ripped from the Australian Ford Dismantlers, $60 for the pair and they are a light grey inside. so i got a second pair of ebay for around $45ish and they're chrome inside which looks better, ties in with the headlights better.
i got the clear AU3 repeaters from the wreakers for nothing!!!

rare spares are a rip of joint too!
for my side xr6 badges they wanted $57 each! i got 2 xr6 badges of ebay for $60 inc. postage and handling, even that price is a bit steep but its still half the price of rare spares!! weird thing tho is that the XR6 side badges are worth $57 but then the XR8 side badges are worth $27 or something! work that one out!
