good stuff guys, Dezza it's not a power differance at all it's a gearing differance. 5 speed >4 speed, it will put the power to the ground much better though.

Now try 5 speed + 3.7's + decent power. :P I'll let you have a go one day if you ask nicely.

Again congrats on the conversion, I couldn't get over my EA when it was converted it transforms the car.

Yeah, I understand that the car doesn't put out any more power. I should have said that the acceleration is such an improvement. It's so much better.

Pics should be up soon

Good to see it all in 1 piece and going well.

Sounds like the BEM got unplugged and not plugged back in by the way. Easy fix let me know if you want me to drop by after work for a quick look to fix your electrical issues.

I'm very happy with it. Thanks for the help. I've just got to solve my climate control issue and try to tighten my gearknob. About the climate control, Jason is going to come over tomorrow and try swapping climate control units over to see if that is the problem. That adjustable gearknob, it's got too allen headed screws on the side of it. I tried to tighten them up and just rounded off the head. I tried a number of allen keys, but I just can't get it tight. If I can't get it tight, I'll have to get another gearknob. Today I actually got around to putting the remaining bits of interior back together.

Yeah, that gearknob probably has metric screws, but your allen keys are A/F
Use superglue:P

I bought a set of metric allen keys, but they're no good for it either. I probably will have to try superglue

Cool. The Clarion head unit is pretty good for the price. It looks absolutely filthy in those photos though. I have to say I was impressed with the premium sound in your LTD. For a factory sound system it was awesome.

The problem isn't where the gear stick screws onto the shifter, the problem is where the leather top screws to the steel part of the shifter

Sorry mate. A left a couple out. The only good ones with your car are these. Not many turned out while you were there :( After you left, Josh figured out my camera and we got some better ones.

We nearly called Alex out for some help!
