Default Using Clear Indicators

Hi,

I bought some clear indicators for my EA, and I was wondering how do I put them on?

I'm pretty car illiterate, so this is gonna be a challange haha. From what I can see, I have to take the headlights out to swap them over, correct? But when I've undone all the bolts that are holding the headlights in, it won't come out. Is this because the bumper is in the way, or is there an easier way of doing this?

Thanks.

There's 4 bolts on each light. 2 visible from the front, 1 under the light bulb cap at the back and 1 on the side where the grill would be when the bonnet is closed. These all off, everything unplugged and they should slide straight out. If it doesn't slide out, then just check that it's not getting caught on your bumper (which mine did as the bumper wasn't aligned properly). Then there is only 3 screws holding the indicator to the light. That should be it

Yeah Mine got caught as well, i just borrowed a steak knife from the kitchen and pushed the rubber on the bottom up while bringing it out

Check the FordMods.com website, also deleted link has a good guide on how to do it.

I followed the guide and done the headlights in about 40minutes, clear repeaters took 10minutes or so each

One thing though, MAKE SURE you leave enough room for them to clip back on to the metal prong, I looked at the pic and thought mine was enough however you can still take them out so I used a little bit of stikaflex to make sure they stay on (not enough that I can't get it off it bulb breaks)
