Hi, does anyone know the differences btween the landau front and say a ltd front of the same year? are the guards and bonnet interchangeable? can any one help please as I am looking at buying a rolling shell and I know where to get a 1975 ltd with engine box diff interior front, the whole lot, but dont want to build a bitsa. my first love was a 77 zh marquis 351 FMX....

Entire front totally interchangable. Bonnet is exact as well. Seats are bit different as the two at front have the release to send them forward and of course the rear in the Landau has the buckets. The seats can be used, its just that they will not fold forward. Landau doors are XB, C coupe. Side windows are from standard coupe, even the cut out passenger window. Rea tail lights are the same.

I love Landau's. One of best looking large cars there is, IMO. Comfy ride too.

Dont forget that the LTD will have a "LTD by Ford" Badge on the passenger eyelid, where the Landau will have a "Landau by Ford" badge... Try finding one of those! :P
Apart from that its all the same... When a magna pulled out in front of my dads landau, we had to buy a whole LTD just to get parts.... needless to say the magna was a write off :P the landau was still drivable ;)
