Hello everyone,
I know this might see a weird request on a Ford Forum. But I was wondering if anyone has sucessfully setup a console eg xbox gamecube etc on an LCD monitor? I am wanting to setup a gamecube to my LCD but don't know how to go about it. I have heard there are two was of doing it - by hooking it into a TV tuner or buying a video to AGP box. Any feedback would be much apprectiated |

theres a few things on google (well pages it finds anyways) about making a board that input AV signal into your LCD monitor assuming its a computer type and not a tv based one.
can also get a video to VGA i think you ment to say box but that'll sometimes require a power source i tried on a small 7" LCD screen, a 15.4" Laptop screen with no luck but i havent tried using the VGA cable or a standalone box tell us if you find a way

Theres a 'box' for XBOX (x2vga+) that plugs into an XBOX, and gives you a VGA connector (for a monitor), as well as RCA and optical (digital) sound. I've got one and it works great. Allows you to play in hi def, with great sound.

Sorry i can't help with your question
but i was wondering what type/watt of inverter is required to run an xbox? my lcd already has the inputs on it, i just dont know what inverter to use sorry to go offtopic again, but this thread just reminded me about it and thought theres no point starting another

I've run an XBOX plus a 17" LCD monitor from both a 150W and a 300W modified sine wave inverter (both Jaycar 'powertech' units).
