How much oil does an EF LSD diff take ? or do I just fill it up to the top of the fill plug like a T5 ?

just fill it up to the point when the oil starts to drip out of the fill plug hole, I think its about 1.7L from memory

all done, didn't make much difference slightly quieter, just one less thing I have to worry about for a while. Old fluid came out a bit burnt but with no metal shavings which is good.
