Default James Brown.... is dead

http://seattlepi.nwsource.com/pop/14...bit_Brown.html

Quote:

James Brown, the dynamic, pompadoured "Godfather of Soul," whose rasping vocals and revolutionary rhythms made him a founder of rap, funk and disco as well, died early Monday, his agent said. He was 73.

Brown was hospitalized with pneumonia at Emory Crawford Long Hospital on Sunday and died around 1:45 a.m. Monday, said his agent, Frank Copsidas of Intrigue Music. Longtime friend Charles Bobbit was by his side, he said.

R.I.P

im thankful that i have never witness death from a loved one but i am costantly being reminded of how small we are when it comes to the big picture. after seeing icons like paker, brock, irwin and brown die it makes you realise life comes and goes and at the end of it all we will be gone. i just hope that there is an afterlife because we can't live forever on earth. great man james brown was and its a sad day for soul. r.i.p

its makes it especially sad because he was always so full of energy, to think of him in any other light seems unreal.
