ok well Ive been playing it the last few days, I don't think its much chop. Personally the handling is not very good, and ive only done drifting a couple of times and its worse than that last NFS that had it.
The only good thing thus far is the cars..mmm..dodge charger r/t, but I use bumper cam so I dont really see them anyway. I hope they go back to the old style, just with good cars and graphics, I think im over the whole mod thing.

NFS carbon is okay....underground 2 was really cool......MW was okay again.....lack of inspiration to finish it though......
what gets me about Carbon is the drift. ohh and i noticed with the tuning on my one understeer is oversteer and oversteer is understeer. n e way back to drift..its sucks.... its like the Front wheels have the Best grippy tyres and dont want to move. but the rear have bald tyres. just one press of the acc button = 180... like no control.....its weirder to drift and even though i may get used to it.....mneh the only good thing about the game are the expensive cars, IE galllardo, murcilargo, gt500 Ford GT....and all th e rest.....

Sorry to bring up a dead topic, but its better than making a new one. I just started playing, and when i enter somebody elses territory and one of their cars comes up to me, how do i race them or whatever?

Playing it a lot
PROS: Good graphics, choice of cars, gameplay (what you can do) and good starting storyline CONS: Storyline is non existant after the third territory, "drift" is not drifting, its bullshit" Sometimes get the feeling too many things to modify Other than that, a great sequel to Most Wanted. Although I much preferred the gameplay in MW to Carbon, Carbon feels too much like the Underground Series. |

First time I went the tuner route. Was running an RX-7 and Skyline. They handled fine, but the Tier 3 exotic cars just drove away from me on the straights. Ended up switching to exotics and finished the game.
2nd time I started with the Camaro and it drove well - had good power, predictable handling and the ability to win until I hit the last city. I tried the other muscle cars. The Dodge Charger handled crap as well as the Vette - they just went into every corner sliding sideways heaps - the Tier 1 Camaro was better! Finished the game with the Gallardo then the GT. The Camaro concept is quick and drives pretty well - GM must have paid good money to get their cars painted in such good light. Alot of the other muscle cars just didn't drive well compared to the Camaros, despite having good handling stats and full upgrades. I won the DB9, but that understeered something bad. What I was doing was buying the car, upgrading it and test driving it - without saving the game, so if I wasn't happy with the car I just bought, I just reloaded my save game.

Yeah I did the whole thing with muscle cars, it got hard towards the end as they just dont have the grip of others, straight line grunt is damn good though.
Finished the last boss, and I dont think I will be touching it again. Also Im sick to death of racing at night, its good, but gets to boring after a while. They need a 24 hour setup, with dusk and dawn...etc etc They need another one like Special Edition, where you hammer along coastlines, threw good heavy traffic and have cops, that would be good. Call it "Cannonball" or something, you could almost even keep the current line up of cars. Anyway, I got Call of Duty 3 yesterday, now there is a good game thus far.

I did the entire game with imports. I started off with the Alfa Brera, before getting a DB9 and finished off with the McMerc. I got to 100% but since I haven't played online, the only way I can get those last few cars is with a trainer
