Just formated my computer and installed avg and spybot seek and destroy. Now im getting a popup every few minutes saying that the windows registry needs to be updated and to visit some site. Just wondering how I would go about getting rid of this popup as spybot and avg dont pick anything up and the popup doesnt appear to look legit. Any help appreciated.

its spyware that uses the "windows messaging" service...(NOT to be confused with instant messengers like MSN)...
Follow the instructions HERE and you'll get them no longer... Also, if you dont have a software Firewall (which I reccomend you do get), at least make sure WIndows Firewall is turned on...
