hi guys,
after replacing the thermostat and doing radiator flush i accidently broke off the temperature sensor for the coolant next to the bleed plug on the side of the thermostat housing. is there some kind of sealant/glue you can use to stick the sensor back into the brass plug? or do i have to buy a whole new plug with the sensor attached? any help much appreciated andy |

I did the same thing when I pulled my broken thermostat housing off.
A new sensor should cost less than $30 from Ford, just get a new one. |

well no i didn't snap the sensor in half, it still works. what happened is the sealant that sticks the sensor into the brass plug on the thermostat housing broke off.
i went to repco today to get a price .... 25 bucks although not in stock at my local store they can get it by monday. so looks like i will be fitting the new sensor monday night. thanks for the help spope. |
