Default Has anyone got this

has anyone here actually bought this for the au, doesnt matter which model i assume they are all made the same. i just want to know what people think and if they are worth the money

Try for a search in this forum. Never bothered with these myself but there may be issues with trying to refit your needles...

I was going to buy them for my AU, but never got around to it

but one of my mates had them in his AU (these ebay ones) and had no problemss with them

i just bought soem for my au 1 forte. i have a fairmont dash though but havnt got it yet. i hope there good

Yeah, I used to have mates who did similar in their MX-5's... basically, as people has said, it's totally doable, but the needles are tricky buggers.

yeh when i first got the fairmont dash and installed it the rev needle was out but i managed to get it off and fix it. now i have to do that all again when the white faces arrive. i hope i dont break anything

Do NOT get these. The guages are made of cheap plastic and will warp in the heat, rendering your cluster useless as your needles can not freely move.

Do a search its been discussed in depth.

well ill put it on. its always hot here so if it stuffs up ill by an xr cluster instead of a fairmont one again and tell everyone how **** they are if they stuff up. but if its good ill be happy. i really want an au 2 or 3 cluster but no one knows the wiring to change for au 1

interesting i had mine in my car for nearly 5 years .. no dramas, then again i have been using LEDs and not bulbs

no probs with mine - even had specially made xr one that only goes to 220km/h -- looks good at night

i bought one of these of this guy. lasted 3 months before warping and bubbling one day while parked at the shops, i was in there for 2 hours... i was so pi$$ed that i forgot i have to be gentle with the cluster cover and ended up breaking all but one clip.......
