Default Hot dog

Has anyone here got a hot dog fitted up to their exhaust on their AU?

I have a single 2'5inch exhaust system atm with one muffler however now having the turbo and all the piping running to it been 3" it screams its head off when your giving it a good rev. I know I need to upgrade to a 3" or 3.5" but what I want to know is how would it sound with a single hot dog and no muffler?

The 2.5" with a single muffler isnt all too inspiring anymore (I guess its worn off haha) so looking to go a bit louder! Any suggestions?

Aren't they called resonators nowadays?
I have 1 on mine, but with the centre muffler (fitted as a complete 2-3/4" system, it's loud enough for me, I expect yours would be droning with just a resonator & quite unbearable to :eclipsee_

it would be loud as with just a hot dog. Plus you must have some back pressure there a little at least.

At the moment with 1 muffler it doesn't drone at all but is a bit noisy when you put your foot into it. Well I have found in the front seats its ok but when your in the back its a bit droney I suppose as your sitting right above it nearly.

I think I should just cut out the middle man and have nothing from the cat back ;) or maybe ill just have the gases coming straight out the turbo on to the fire wall ;) would be good for winter!
