Default Urgent! Power Steering Pump

Hey can anyone help me. The fitting that is on the high pressure hose going into the power steering pump is leaking. Ive read a few times that I can cut it off with a grinder and replace it is that right. Or just replace the hole hose

just do the whole hose, your other option is get enzed out to make/repair the exsiting hose, have never heard of cutting it before.

You have to replace the whole hose.

When mine went, my mech cut the hose and replaced the fittings for it. I wasn't going to pay $380 for a new hose.

That was a genuine Ford part. I think the ridiculous price was because of the re-design of the high pressure hose which involves stainless steel, so Ford thought it was a good idea to put some outrageous price on it.

I got the hose fixed with new fittings for $80...
