My Mate has an EL Fairmont, and lately it's been dying about 5-10 minutes after running. Once it's died, it has trouble starting for about an hour or two, and once it re-starts, will die shortly after.
At first, we thought it was the TFI, so we replaced that, along with the coil and the little sensor thats underneath the coil, but it still dies. The car starts when its cooled down, but once it warms up again, it dies even with the new parts. When it's died, and we try to start it again, the engine cranks, but doesn't kick over. Any ideas? |

I had the same problem a while back. A new module is about $40....
