Default My Custom 3" Intake

Hey all,

Well I've finally put my custom EL style 3" intake together and definately looks the part.

It's a combo of the EL rubber n plastic and some nice Spectre chrome pipe to complete the 3" flow all the way around.

Certainly looks a far cry from the stock EF intake. Hopefully the different design helps the engine breathe better, even if its marginal.
I had tried looking into custom bent metal piping but am thankful for settling on something far cheaper and does the trick non the different.

Lovin the chrome too, just need a pod filter now ;)

Before (stocko EF intake setup)

After (Custom EL style 3" intake)

i got the pipe from supplier spectre performance.
they have a big range of various intake parts, that look pretty sweet.
the chrome section cost me $60 all up, consists of 2 sections...22deg bend + 6" straight.
