hey, did EF ghias come out with factory manual?

i heard they never did?

i need proof?

also, doesn't compliance plate state what trans came with the car?

Nope they never did

only Eseries Ghia that has factory Manual was a EA Ghia

Pretty sure EB2 came with manual. i looked at one ages ago in a car yard, was 5LT 5speed.......mmmmm, looked very nice

Actually thats right! i saw a '92 EB 5.0 Manual at Car City one avo. Said it was 1 of 500 made

is there any proof... im looking at this EF GHIA and the guy keeps telling me its a factory manual... but i keep telling him its not...

seriously, walk away. if he's trying to pull a shifty on that then who know what else he's gonna try and pull. your being taken for a fool and nothing less.
there is no such thing as a factory EF ghia. full stop.
wanna rub it in his face? then get the letter from the compliance plate (for the trans) and i bet it comes back as AUTO. or get him to PROVE to you that its a factory manual. make him get documentation from Ford that it is.
like i said, walk away and dont waste your time on this guy any more.

the car itself seems really nice, i've seen it around.....
thats if its the same one you showed me aaron.

this guy might have bought it from someone who told him it was factory hence why he's adament it is.....

He might be right. The manual trans was made in a factory, so its a factory manual.
No production line manuals made though. Will be a number of converted ones though.

I own an 1996 EFII Fairmont Ghia, and I assure you there were no manuals available. I have my factory book with the car (for Fairmont and Ghia) and NO manual was listed as available on either of those models, Fairmonts and Ghia's all were AUTO ONLY in EF

Spot On. Its not possible - and no factory specials were made for the execs etc.
