Noticed that as of late my Firefox wont fully download files i.e. video clips etc, also stuff in Youtube too, it loads up to a point then just says theyre complete when they're not.
Wondering if there's anything i can do to make it stop doing it? Nothing more annoying than getting 10 seconds of a 1 min clip.

Clear cache/temp files.
Also see if there is a connectivity issue. Start > Run > Type cmd and press OK Type: ping -n 50 google.com.au The results should all have resonces from an IP address. If there are any requests time outs, sounds like there could be a problem with your actual connection. |

When you do it, it may seem that the computer is frozen. Give it 5 mins or so to finish the process.
For Internet Explorer http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/...learcache.mspx For Firefox http://www.ngcsu.edu/Adminsrv/infote.../ffcache.shtml While your at it reduce the cache file size. Hit the settings button and in the cache size, reduce it to 10mb if your on broadband, 30mb if your on dial up. |
